Samick, which is a Korean musical instruments manufacturer produced guitars for forty years before they desired to hire Greg Bennett to their line of guitars. We must say that this was a radical makeover and was by no means a mistake. Why did they hire Greg Bennett? Well, they did so as they were looking to improve their sound quality, appearance and built quality. Did they succeed at this goal? Of course they did! Why else would it be a high quality line of guitars today?
In a studio in Nashville, Tennessee, Bennett started to redesign his instruments. His search for woods and electronics started after this. The new Samick guitars are under the name Greg Bennett Guitars. You will find a wide range of professional level parts. Those professional level parts include machine heads from Grover and pickups that were designed by Seymour Duncan. They also include bridges that are by Wilkinson.
The new woods that were used in this production are definitely high quality. The woods include ebony and ovangkohl, which comes from Africa. You also have rosewood, which is from India and rock maple, which is from North America.
The manufacturers of Bennett Guitars range from stringed instruments that include acoustic, electric and archtop guitars. Don't forget that you also have electric and acoustic basses. You also have banjos, ukuleles, mandolins and Autoharps.
For each line of instrument, an elegant name was given. The name was given in order to give better product identification and to also give it the high end feel. The most distinctive feature that is the most common out of all those new instruments in our opinion would be the angled-back headstock.
Right on the top of the angled-back headstock, you are going to find a new logo, which has been designed intentionally small. The bigger the headstocks, the more energy that will come from a vibrating string, which will in terms cause less sustain.
Greg Bennett Guitars have gained popularity from many different performing artists.
