i am thinking of getting this guitar but i am unsure. I have never even owned a fender. I have played a few but i have never found one that i liked and this looks like a good guitar but im not sure. I need a guitar that can play country.. but also metal. I am working on learning how to play bluegrass….
I really like the way the J5 triple telecaster is looking, I’ve been playing since I was 2 years old (I’m 25 years old now), & I’m a Neo-Classical Metal player & I’ll tell you…I’ve had great luck with 2 types of guitars #1 – Telecasters & #2 – Flying V’s….& I’ve always loved the looks of the ’72 Telecaster Deluxe & the J5 Triple Telecaster is (OBVIOUSLY) an upgraded customization job of the ’72 Telecaster Deluxe…so I really want one…or a Fender Road Worn ’72 Telecaster Deluxe

I have one of these, fucking awesome tone and a smooth trem too although it needed a fair bit of setting up due to transit. And as for the whole US/Mexico thing i think its fair to say that a large number of fenders that ARE made in the US are probably made by Mexicans anyway!
whats wrong with fender mexico fucker that guitar are kick ass and its has a more pawerfull pickups.
Nothing to be worried about, dude, the days where made in Mexico meant a crappy Fender are long gone. Even the higher priced Squiers are solid quality these days.
