Anwyay, bottom line is, if you like the way these reissues sound and look who cares if they aren’t exactly the same as the originals. Trust your ears not what it say on the spec sheet.

its also simple that as a musician, it doesn’t matter how fucking aged the guitar is- it just has to sound good and play good. no active musician is going to give a rats ass about dc resistance coils and cunt rods buddy. all I care about is having a good guitar at a good price, and if I were to get an original I’d have to spend my life’s savings whereas with this I only have to pay 900$. not a big dif in guitar w/ a big dif in price

Hey suckers these guitars are a joke . Surely the pickups should be the same as the original shouldn’t they . These pickups are similar ONLY IN LOOKS . The original widerange pickup was UNIQUE AND STILL HAS NOT BEEN DUPLICATED , DUE TO THE CUNIFE ROD magnetic pole pieces and the HIGH DC resistance coils . Fender are laughing at you suckers who pay for a guitar that looks like a tele deluxe without knowing ANYTHING about the original .
Ripping off its less expierienced customers .

Reissue i guess

Hey, this is actually the guitar I bought a couple of months ago. On the whole no rock demo issue and your doubts about it having a nice tone when distorted, it really depends on what you’re looking for. I play mine through a Marshall DSL100 w/1960A cab and I’d like to think the tone created is quite satisfying; translated, I think, perhaps, it’s definitely more rooted in a classic gain or crunch – high gain may not be it’s strong suit. Overall though, tone from these guitars are immense.

why is there no demo of people play rock with this guitar i might buy one by it needs a good distortion tone

Just got one. I got the black one. Have heard , or read to change the tone pots. Well I like the sound of the guitar. Just like in the video. This I feel gives more of a “tele sound ” verses somthing else.
The guitar screams you can play any style you want and still get alot of different tonal values.

there “is” actually quite a lot of bands that play clean guitars. most guitars would sound pretty much the same with distortion through youtube, clean shows you the true characteristics. but i know what you mean it would be good if it had both, or at least a little overdrive

why must all guitar demos show just the guitars clean sound? There is not many who plays an electric guitar in “clean mode” especially not in bands. Often people want to know how the more heavy sound of the guitar sounds like. Show the world rock!
