How to play first song on guitar

Playing first song on guitar is unforgettable event for any guitar beginner and guitar lover. Like everyone remembers first kiss, every guitar player remembers first song played on guitar. That memory is much more pleasant and memorable if the first song was one of guitar classics instead of "Twinkle, twinkle, little star". It may be little more challenging to choose "Comfortably Numb" as first song, but sense of achievement and happiness will be much bigger with the song which moves blood in your body.

Certain aspects of guitar playing have to be mastered before attempting to play first song. Reading music using tablature has to be learned as well as basic chords playing. Of course, nothing can happen without actual guitar, either acoustic or electric. Acoustic guitar cost less and it is easier to learn for beginners.

Since you want to play one of your favourite song, I am sure you know melody and words by heart, so that will not be the issue.

The good start is to locate tablature for favourite song if you already didn't get them. Finding tablature is simple task, just go to google.com and search for "favourite song tablature". For example, if I want to find out tablature for "Comfortably Numb, I would type "comfortably numb tablature" in Google. And I would get back over 50 000 results.

Once you got favourite song tab, read it first to make sure you know all chords in there. If you don't, you know what has to be done.

When you are sure you know all chords in favourite song tab, start playing song little by little. It is much easier to practice little parts of song then whole song. When you master first pat, only and only then, start practising second part. Patience is very important, and don't skip parts, since you want to be able to play song as one whole, not to look for notes in the middle of the song.

When you finish practising whole song, then you are ready for grand finale, your first solo song.

As a precaution, double check if your guitar is tuned properly, otherwise David Gilmour will not be able to play on it with proper sound. If you still didn't learn how to tune it by ear, or you don't have electrical tuner, just search Google for "online guitar tuner" and you will get quite few sites with online tuner which can help you tune your guitar properly.

And go, start playing your first song, what accomplishment, congratulations. You made it.

By the way, make sure that you have a fun all the time. What is point in playing guitar if it is not fun?

And keep practicing, even 15 minutes per day. It will make huge difference in time. Practice makes it perfect.

I purchased this very nice mountain dulcimer from a guy at a flea market a few months ago. He purchased it as a kit from a supplier in Colorado. He claimed he had hopes of putting it together someday and then to learn how to play it, but that never transpired and it spent the next 6 years in his closet. One year his brother-in-law who was an aspiring wood-smith offered to put it together for him and gave it to him for Christmas one year. His brother-in-law did a superb job of putting it together and I had the good fortune to add this to my instrument collection for $25.00. The guy I bought this from also had a fairly new Yamaha acoustic guitar made in Indonesia for $250.00, I felt he had the prices backwards, as this dulcimer is built much better and with choice woods, and the best part about it, it was no doubt built by someone with a labor of love. Im happy to have ended up with it and I now have no intentions of selling it, Ill probably pass it on to my grandchildren if they have any desire to take possession of it. I decided to write a song with it this evening and felt it was good enough to share. Thanks to all my new friends and a big hug to all my old ones that continue to share their kind and thoughtful words. Wishing all a very peaceful week ahead. Your friend,.Mark Welcome to Another Day words and music by Mark Maysey (verse) bombs keep dropping people keep dying welcome to another day empty words are spoken promises are broken welcome to another day (chorus ...

"SUSIE SAID" Susie said, "Where are your morals?" I must have dropped them when I stumbled through the door. She smiled, touched my arm and tugged me on the sleeve. Leaning closer, she whispers, "Time to leave." So I rise to meet her eyes. Susie led me from the darkness and for a moment we're the only two alive. Nervous emotions that we savor secretly, she paints a picture of how good it's going to be, and she's right ...then the night: Susie said, "Welcome to heaven, though we both know that I'm a bandage for your pain." A clock ticks down the treasured seconds of a kiss; a clever mixture of the joy and emptiness we both know, but try not to show. Susie said, "I must be going. The sky is lighter and the kids will soon be up." When can I see you? She said, "It all depends. Sometimes encounters with imaginary friends make you feel like you're real." Susie fades away to sunshine, but, after all, she was no ordinary girl. And, once again, I am a solitary soul whose fantasies disguise the loneliness I hold inside my head ...Susie said ...Susie said Michael Reed 2009 © Lyrics and music by Michael Reed. And, once again, I am a solitary soul whose fantasies disguise the loneliness I hold inside my head ...Susie said ...Susie said Michael Reed 2009 © Lyrics and music by Michael Reed. www.myspace.com This song came to me in a dream, at least the tunedid.I dream t that I was watching the morning news, and they were broadcasting a music concert in downtown Los Angeles. The person performing I can't describe, but he was playing this song, not exactly but somewhat, and I was digging it. When I woke up, I immediately went to my recording device, and I recorded what I remembered. The song itself is about not worrying about problems in life. I think this life should be lived as a paradise and if it doesn't seem that way now I feel it will one day.

I did this song this morning at like 11 or 12. The lead guitar I did in one take so it isn't that great. Some mistakes here and there but I think I did pretty good for someone that's only been playing since mid-September of 08. I used audacity, my Rock Band 2 mic, and my Yamaha acoustic guitar. If you like what you hear press that yellow button. Tuning: Drop C# (C# G# C# F# A# D#)
